Dan Gould Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 New Giacomo Gates is very nice to see, thanks for the heads up. My wife and I have seen him twice in south Florida, he's a fantastic singer and entertaining as hell, to boot. Will definitely look for this. Quote
jazztrain Posted August 5, 2015 Report Posted August 5, 2015 I feel the same way about it. Beautiful playing by both. Quote

CJ Shearn Posted July 21, 2017 Report Posted July 21, 2017 Luke Sellick has an impressive debut, "The Alchemist" on Cellar Live, I never got around to reviewing it, but it is good. The Malone cover is slightly cheesy though! Quote
JSngry Posted July 21, 2017 Report Posted July 21, 2017 I think it's interesting (in what way, I'm not yet sure), that the dancers are ballet dancers instead of ballroom/etc dancers. No twerking, but to what degree that's a good think (sic)...I don't know. Then again, there's always this..is Russell Malone playing music for these dancers? If so, let me listen! Quote
