On this week’s 2 hour non-stop mix of swing and jazz from live 1920s – 1960s radio you’ll hear live swing and jazz from 1920s-60s radio by Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Jan Savitt, and Charlie and Jack Teagarden.

Plus there’re a few commercial sides including a 1930s side by Australian swing maestri Frank Coughlin and George Trevare, and a 1940s record by Mandopop singer Yao Lee whose song Rose, Rose I Love You is the only Chinese Pop Song ever to get into the top 3 in the US Charts. It was covered by Frankie Laine in 1951. Petula Clark did a cover of the 1940 song in the UK.

All very symmetrical. And of course there's a whole 2 hours of non-stop live swing and jazz, including a set of the great woman jazz singers, with the last half of the show being ALL VINYL.
