I shouldn't take any credit. Ghost of Miles posted the URL on Facebook and both he and I got an e-mail Nou Dadoun who sent it to several list-serves. Who ever posted it on You Tube (Harry Oakley?) deserves the credit. Amazing stuff shows up there.

I don't think it's new. I seem to remember having seen this before, perhaps at one of the VJM record bashes in New Jersey.
Looks like its been on YouTube as well for a few years.

Still, it's neat to see Hawkins so early.

This has been on youtube for at least five years (probably more). It was uncovered in the Netherlands some 10 years ago.

The (Jewish) piano player, Leo de la Fuente, died at Auschwitz.
