Van Basten II
Here's a tweet that turned bad for the author PeterrWLFC: If Costa Rica beat Uruguay on Saturday ill chop my penis off and eat it It's not going to happen :)"
Van Basten II
Except for the brilliant Swiss comeback, games were subpar, Messi's goal will make forget some people on the fact that Argentina was hardly impressive, Honduras played like thugs against France and managed to lose all the "support the underdog" from the locals they had at the debut of the game. Tomorrow starts strongly with the clash of the day between Portugal and Germany and will finish with a matchup that might find a lot of you interested between the US and Ghana. Sandwiched in the middle a game involving two nations which often manage to make the news for very bad reasons.

uli
A bit of a lucky win for team US but entertaining game. Looking forward to Brazil/Mexico. Algeria and Belgium has some potential too. No clue what to expect from Russia/Korea This picture made the rounds It looks like Mireles is giving the ref the finger(s) while he is reportedly just sign languaging coache's instructions to Alves. He sez "I am moving back to the inside defense on the right side. Edited June 17, 2014 by uli

T.D.
USA-Portugal match will be played in the dreaded Manaus venue, which adds a bit of a wild-card. The Italy-England clash there was very good, but the players seemed to seriously tire late. Several USA players pulled hamstrings in Natal, and I fear more of the same in the Amazon. Van Basten II
The two first team out of World Cup are not so suprisingly Australia and way more suprisingly defending champs Spain.... In other news CR7 may be out for his next game and maybe for the rest of the competition, maybe Portugal then can try to play as a team instead of being dependent of the Real Madrid' top scorer Edited June 18, 2014 by Van Basten II
Soulstation1
Totally don't understand the rules Ex Player breaks leg he's down on the ground for 30 minutes Do they add 30 minutes extra time
erwbol
Naturally, he's carried off the pitch on a stretcher and the game continues. The more or less set number of extra minutes (30 seconds per substitution, etc.) are to prevent stalling.
Van Basten II
Only player they will allow more time is the keeper, the hazard (not as Edens) of the scheduling makes it a bizarre as two of the three games today involves teams who are 0-1 CR7 update, Portuguese head man said he would be there for the next game, also a woman who bwecame famous after she declaired that he had an affair with her was thrown out of the Portuguese camp, she was hired by a media outlet to work as a "journalist"
