Computer Gurus: Microphone Headset

I have purchased the Dragon software program to enable me to dictate to my computer. Now I need to buy a microphone to use with it.

I suppose I need one whose pickup is of sufficient quality that the software will correctly understand what I am saying.

Any suggestions, especially from experience? The ones I see at Amazon have reviews which typically discuss their use with skype, which I'm not sure is relevant.

One of my colleagues just got one to use for Microsoft Lync conference calls, but he hasn't used it yet. I may need to get one soon myself.

I have no experience with Dragon, sorry.

I'm certainly not a computer guru but I did buy this one for a volunteer at my workplace who needs to use Dragon.

It worked well enough.although after 18 months (one day a week usage) it did begin to fall apart. Maybe no surprise given its low cost

Apparently none of the headsets lasts very long, but these Microsoft ones have highly respected microphones.
