Pimping my funnybook

After a huge absence I'm popping in to suggest you guys buy the most recent two issues of Batman '66, because I drew 10 pages in each. Issues three and four. If you dig the Adam West Batman it's a great read, and I'd say that even if I wasn't involved : )

I'm working on a different project with the writer, and he went to bat for me. And I'm credited, so I'm easy to find

Bummer. I used to own a comic book shop; now I wouldn't even know where to find one!

How long have you been out of the funnybook business? How long were you in?

I started dealing at cons in the mid-eighties and then made the mistake of opening a store in '91. I managed to start turning a profit fairly quickly, but could never get it large enough to live on. Ended up selling off my personal collection trying to keep the shop open. It kind of turned comics into a bittersweet thing at best for me.

I've sold chunks of collection (in the distant past) to make rent and stuff, some irreplaceable. I still miss those things! Sorry you fell victim to the nineties : (

If I'm ever down on comics because business, all it takes is a pile of Kirby to pull me out of it.
