AllenLowe Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 (edited) as some of you know, my allegedley 36 CD set called Really The Blues? , which covers blues performances and blue performances and blues-related performances from the years 1893-1959 was only partially issued; I have now decided to issue the whole thing on CDRs, high-quality blanks with a nice graphic on the disc, hand numbered. they will be sent in very simple clear plastic, and I will provide a word doc with the order with the song list - price varies on whether or not you buy the book to go with it - so - purchase the book, Really The Blues? 1893-1959 and the discs are $3.25 each shipped - without the book they are $6.25 each shipped since this is all done as custom orders I am happy to sell you indvidual discs, with a minimum order of 5, at the non-book price. I am just gearing up to do this, so anything ordered now will probably go out in December - if you want to order a few at a time that's fine, and I should mention that I will offer all 36 CDs email me at imericanmusic@gmail.com my paypal is allenlowe5@gmail.com the full song list will follow in the next post Edited November 12, 2013 by AllenLowe Quote

cih Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 Did you send out any of the pre-ordered copies of the books yet? - just wondering if Royal Mail have stolen mine.. Quote
AllenLowe Posted November 12, 2013 Author Report Posted November 12, 2013 it all went out about a month ago; the Euro books definitely are taking a LONG time; keep me posted - Quote
AllenLowe Posted November 12, 2013 Author Report Posted November 12, 2013 sorry, I should have added that European shipping is significantly more, due to insane new US postal rates - I'll have to let you know on a case-by-case basis. Quote
Niko Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 very busy at the moment, my books arrived in Europe about a week ago, first impression is great (of course), but I haven't read much - thank you! Quote
Big Beat Steve Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 Still keeping my fingers crossed that my books will arrive soon. So once my books have arrived I'd be very interested in the follow-ups of The Really The Blues CD set that were never issued at the time (all beyond CD No. 9 if i got this right). Quote
Niko Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 keeping my fingers crossed for you too (less than 200km walking distance), had increasingly bad luck with stuff not arriving recently otherwise Quote
