I know there is a "film" thread but I don't think this qualifies. This is no great cinematic work but it's a good rental and was probably even better at the theater but I didn't catch it.

I highly recommend OPEN RANGE for anyone who digs westerns. I enjoyed it so much I rented it twice in the same week. (NEVER done that before) It's not earthshaking cinema and follows the basic predictable formula of the western but still enjoyable. Maybe in my top three of modern westerns with Unforgiven and Silverado.

I agree. Open Range was quite good. The cinematography was beautiful and the gunfight at the end was one of the best in movie history.
