Six recommended seasonal beers

Here's another beer list, this time for Oktoberfest and Thanksgiving.

I have heard of some of the breweries, but none of these beers. Anybody here tried any of these?

I've had the Dogfish Head Punkin Ale. Every beer I've tried by this brewery is fabulous.

I've had this year's Jubelale and thought it wasn't quite as good as it sometimes is (it varies a lot, year to year). Usually prefer Full Sail's Wassail or Pyrimid's Snow Cap, but not always (they vary too, but less so).

I love Deschutes's beers in general but have never enjoyed Jubelale. The first time I tried FS's Wassail I really liked it, but wasn't quite as impressed the second time around. Still haven't yet sampled the Sierra Nevada Celebration ale yet.

We had friends over for dinner last night, and one of the beers brought over by my friend was a Deschutes Jubelale. It was the first one we poured, and I thought it was delightful. I can't recall for certain if I had tried it in the past (I too generally enjoy anything from Deschutes).

Ditto. IMHO this years vintage is the best batch they have made in the last 10 years and that's saying something. Every flavor is balanced perfectly.

Not Xmas beer but I really like

Rogue's Good Chit Pilsner price went from $6 to $8 at Total Wine

Also picked up their 7 Hop IPA

While not a big fun of most micro stuff, I did enjoy these.

Winter Bourbon Barrel Brown and Starry Night Stout.

Both are from Grand Canyon Brewing Company.

Here's a list out today of recommended new beers.

For the most part, these types of beers don't appeal to me. But I do like stout very much, and Foothills is from Winston-Salem, so I'll try to find that one.
