Yes, KOB is a "made" mono recording in this set. That is not true of the other eight releases.

I don't seem to possess the two Monk tracks from Jazz Track! That's my excuse for buying it. Of course I could just listen to those two tracks on spotify, but it wouldn't be the same. Anyway I probably do own them I just have no idea where they are. Anyway...

Sheesh I'd have hoped it was ok to buy a 'legit' Miles Davis box set at a moderate price without everybody getting as worked up as if it were Andorran. Familiar records, just sit and listen pleasantly for a while...who died?

I can see that, but it's the only one of the eight that they need to do that with it, and I trust Wilder to do a good job of it, and I'm looking forward to the set, I like these albums and can enjoy hearing those I've not heard before in mono.

Yes, why is it so criminal to make the other original mono tapes available again? These albums were widely listened to that way for many years. Don't like it, don't buy it.
