I've a good failure rate going too!

What can I expect from the son of the man who invented the "Who's buried in Grant's tomb?" round the dinner table history question!

That's a good price in today's economy!

I've seen them go for $700+ on ebay in the days of yore.

LP set I've seen for $900 once or twice.

I'm saving my sealed set. It'll probably send my daughter through school in 17 years. ;)

This seller may have a "Zero" rating but that's not representative;the seller/contact is Shawn, and he's been on the net on boards for years, and is a primo first rate top notch seller/buyer (among other things). The "seller" is a record shop he is now assisting with internet sales. A reputable place as well.

$500 isn't bad for the Cole set. I must have sold during a lull, though, as my spare set went for only around $300 a couple of years ago. I did, however, sell it to Bobby Darin's former manager, who picked it up in person leading to a very enjoyable chat at my home about Darin's old days at Capitol Records. :) It's amazing the people you meet on Ebay! :D
