kulu se mama
that's probably the same set that went for $66 and some change around the end of december.
jazzbo
Actually, sorry you don't get to rain on THIS parade, but I'm pretty sure it's NOT.

jazzbo
It's just a joke, or a failed attempt at one.
kulu se mama
thanks lon. that's what most of my posts are - failed attempts at jokes.
jazzbo
I've a good failure rate going too! What can I expect from the son of the man who invented the "Who's buried in Grant's tomb?" round the dinner table history question!
Tjazz
The seller has a ZERO rating? B)
Dmitry
That's a good price in today's economy! I've seen them go for $700+ on ebay in the days of yore. LP set I've seen for $900 once or twice. I'm saving my sealed set. It'll probably send my daughter through school in 17 years.
jazzbo
This seller may have a "Zero" rating but that's not representative;the seller/contact is Shawn, and he's been on the net on boards for years, and is a primo first rate top notch seller/buyer (among other things). The "seller" is a record shop he is now assisting with internet sales. A reputable place as well. Edited February 18, 2004 by jazzbo
RDK
$500 isn't bad for the Cole set. I must have sold during a lull, though, as my spare set went for only around $300 a couple of years ago. I did, however, sell it to Bobby Darin's former manager, who picked it up in person leading to a very enjoyable chat at my home about Darin's old days at Capitol Records. It's amazing the people you meet on Ebay!
