WGCL-TV reports a man was arrested before an Atlanta Braves on Friday because he was playing the trombone outside Turner Field. But Eryk McDaniel argued that he was not breaking any city laws because he wasn't asking passersby for money.

Back to the original story - it's wonderful to live in a city with so little crime that the police can spend their time arresting musicians. Might just leave the doors unlocked tonight.

I have no proof, but my instincts tell me that a PD that tends to arrest musicians probably has serious problems.

The Atlanta City Council may soon vote to change its laws regarding street musicians after a college student was arrested for playing a trombone outside Turner Field before a Braves game last month.
