bertrand Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 (edited) Do the new Japanese reissues of the Elvin Jones lighthouse dates have all the necessary bonus tracks? Thanks, Bertrand. Edited June 5, 2013 by bertrand Quote
jazzbo Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 I don't think so, looks as if they just contain the original album material from listings I see. Quote
erwbol Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 (edited) I compared them a while ago to the material in the Elvin Jones Mosaic box and they came one or two tracks short if I remember correctly. They do however have the bonus tracks from previous CD reissues of the albums themselves. Link 1 Link 2 Link 3 Edited August 26, 2014 by erwbol Quote
bertrand Posted June 6, 2013 Author Report Posted June 6, 2013 Thanks. 'The Children's Merry Go-Round March' clocks in at 28 minutes. Yikes. Please tell me this is not a really grating tune. Bertrand. Quote
erwbol Posted August 26, 2014 Report Posted August 26, 2014 I made a mistake in my previous reply. The Japanese BNLA999 reissues do contain all the music from the Mosaic, although in different order. The Mosaic uses the order of the three sets played that night. Quote
