Jim R Posted May 24, 2013 Report Posted May 24, 2013 Still using one of these... a LOT. Casio Databank 300. I wish mine still looked this good. Don't use it anymore, but I can't seem to allow myself to get rid of it. Oh, we also have one of these (still operative, nice to have in case of power outages): Quote

jazzbo Posted May 25, 2013 Report Posted May 25, 2013 My 1959 EICO HF81 integrated amp, got it running again recently, still can make some sweet sound. Quote
Tim McG Posted May 25, 2013 Report Posted May 25, 2013 does anyone still use a sony beta vcr, a quality product that should have survived? Nope. I don't own a Blue Ray, Laser Disk player, CD mini-disk or an 8-Track for the same reason: Too expensive to buy recordings and NObody has them with any kind of variety. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted May 25, 2013 Report Posted May 25, 2013 My TI-82 calculator. Lot's of calculators on this thread; some products are still built to last! Quote

Don't tell the Montreal Protocol police. My Zerostat pistol from 1978 is still going strong ! No, it's electric. We got a new one when we moved here in 2005, but the old one is still going and in use in the garage. MG Quote

The Magnificent Goldberg Posted May 26, 2013 Report Posted May 26, 2013 I lost Unca Marvy's R&B page and, after a bit of googling, found its new address this morning. One thing I hadn't looked at before is the page discussing his 1950 wire recorder, so I thought y'all would be interested. http://www.uncamarvy.com/OtherNeatStuff/Wire/wire.html MG Quote
