clifford_thornton Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 I bet Mosaic would help you out... not with a new CD player, but with a replacement CD. Quote
bogdan101 Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 Do you mean it destroyed it, or it just won't spit it out? Quote
John L Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 I'm listening through the November 1947 Carnegie Hall set for the first time. Brilliant! Thank you so much, Ricky, Mosaic, and everyone else involved for putting together this fabulous set, one for the ages! Quote
jazzbo Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 That IS an amazing concert, and great sound! I listened to several discs from this set (and a few other Pops items) on Monday, the BIRTHDAY. Great job Ricky et al! Quote
Ricko Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 Glad everyone's still digging the set! Scott and I went down to the Satchmo Summerfest over the weekend and delivered a keynote address about the making of it, as well a WWOZ interview about it that I'll post to my blog in a day or so. Mosaic sent 20 boxes down to the festival and they sold out within a day! So keep spreading the word and keep digging Pops! Ricky Quote
