JSngry
Has any of this been booted? Pre-ordered anyway, just wondering. I hope Prez talks a lot.

king ubu
Great news! And no, to my knowledge, no Boston material was part of the "usual" boots!
John L
Great news! And no, to my knowledge, no Boston material was part of the "usual" boots! The recent Storyville "100 Years-Forever Young" included tracks from a December, 1953 Boston date, but that is with Gildo Mahones on piano, not Horace Silver. AllenLowe
from what I have heard, 1950 was a good year for Prez, based on some other live shots; I just hope Uptown has gotten their sound issues corrected.

Dan Gould
Bob @ Uptown mentioned this to me as one that was in the hopper, I will definitely be picking it up. Wish I could say the other two that were also in the production process but I guess y'all will just have to wait.

Tom 1960
Someone mentioned to me recently about a big upcoming Uptown release, but declined to offer up any info. I guess the cat is out of the bag now! Let me add since July 16 is my birthday, this would make a great birthday present!
