Steve Reynolds
I be there Wed & Friday Like the last band on the opening night save for one thing....one can guess..and I have never seen Roswell Rudd in person. Look forward to seeing/hearing Milford Graves and Louis Sclavis. I have only seen Graves once and have never seen the great clarinetist. I would like to see Roscoe Mitchell but I can't do three nights in a row. Saturday night is OK with the nice trio of Davis, Revis and Cyrille and Workman ensemble. CraigP
Saturday night is OK with the nice trio of Davis, Revis and Cyrille and Workman ensemble. AND Tomas Fujiwara and the Hook Up! That would be my night if I could go.
AllenLowe
I think you made a mistake and posted last year's schedule.
Steve Reynolds
I think you made a mistake and posted last year's schedule. Allen - this is the 2013 schedule that was posted today
CraigP
Steve, I think Allen is being what the kids call "snarky" about the usual suspects showing up every year. But having Kris Davis and Tomas Fujiwara is a nice change of pace.
AllenLowe
well I prefer the word "pointed" - but actually, I think he was posting 2005-2011's schedule.
Steve Reynolds
Me always wishing it would be much less of more of the same as well, Allen I was complaining about the same thing ten years ago

I don't think I could endure Baraka either. I went one year and caught Khan Jamal, and he and his band were fantastic. The performance was ruined by some poetess who had no idea when to come in, when to lay out, etc
Steve Reynolds
Good post lost which is a good thing as it might have irritated more than enlightened.
