Peter Friedman Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 I need to put in a good word for a trumpet player I greatly admire - Bill Hardman. The vast majority of his recordings were on other labels, though he was sideman on a Hank Mobley and a Lou Donaldson session on Blue Note. Hardman's playing on the Mobley album, which also includes Sonny Clark, is particularly good. But if forced to select my one favorite on Blue Note, it would be Kenny Dorham. Quote
