How to change weblinks to actual words?

You're asking how to do this when posting to these forums?

In that case...

When you click the web link button (grey "http://" button), you are first asked to enter the URL. This is where you put the actual link (http://msn.espn.go.com/). Then you are asked for the "title" of the web page. This is where you enter the text as you wish it to appear in your post ("espn").

Simple as that!
