I heard the LP one time, haven't retained any impression. Ignored the single CD selection - I don't listen to much Jarrett. But with the emergence of a full 2 CD reissue I thought I might dip back in - anyone heard this? Any thoughts?

Last time I played the 2LP set those low frequency resonances almost lifted the ceiling ! This is one LP set that contravenes nuclear arms non-proliferation treaties.

I've both the lp and cd editions of the past. Amazing sounds emanating from that pipe organ! As the great great great great great grandson of a celebrated organ builder, I really enjoy the improvised music Jarrett performs. May get the new cd release in time.

any grunts? :)

he hadn't mastered the grunt yet; he then still thought he was an instantaneous fabulous composer. i love my old grey covered hymns/spheres vinyls and the booming bass. i don't know what sort of music it is, or even it it's any kind of music. it for sure, is sound, echo, and space.

the cd with good phones revved up would probably blow my old ears off.
