alocispepraluger102 Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2013/02/01/crap-of-the-week-gwen-stefani/ "In a commercial for the new HTC Windows phone, Gwen Stefani states that “the creative process never stops, and song writing is so hard.” Really, Gwen, is it? How many sleepless night did you spend creating such lyrical brilliance as, “this is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-N-A-S?” And, please, explain the grueling process that spawned the transcendent “Hey baby, hey baby, hey. Boys say, girls say. Hey baby, hey baby, hey.” You’re right. It’s difficult to generate nonsensical, meaningless drivel. If it were easy, toddlers would do it… Oh, wait. I’m confident that I speak for the rest of humanity when I say that I anxiously await the day you no longer “Holla Back Girl,” and who ya crappin?" Quote
JSngry Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 When it comes to Gwens, make mine McCrae. Quote
six string Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 (edited) Oh but in her little fur lined love nest she's workin' so hard at being artistic, erm, I mean popular. That's the problem with hitting the big ($$$) time. You get used to all the finer things in life including getting fawned over in public and you'll do anything to keep it comin'. You can't go back to Target once you've shopped at Neiman Marcus (sic). Edited February 1, 2013 by six string Quote

sonnymax Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 How ironic. A thread criticizing someone for lacking creativity and originality, which itself is nothing more than a word-for-word, cut-and-paste job of a blog entry written by someone else. Quote
Ted O'Reilly Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 Ah, that's who that is! If we're speaking about the spot where the person is on a tour bus (I think it is) talking on the phone... Not knowing ANYthing about pop music, I thought it was some actress, 'cause there's a voiceover doing the talking, saying how hard songwriting is. The onscreen person is just preening and walking and using the phone. That's Ms. Stefani, eh? Only heard the name before, never the music. I gotta get out more often. Quote
