clifford_thornton Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 News here. He was quite young. I had the pleasure of seeing him with Tony Hymas and some of Michel Portal's Minneapolis: We Insist crew in Minneapolis years ago. It was odd (musically) but memorable. He seemed like a nice guy - very quiet but gracious. May he rest in peace. Quote
kh1958 Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 I heard him with Ronald Shannon Jackson and the Decoding Society in the late 1980s, in a band with two guitars, bass and drums; his excellence on guitar really stood out. Quote
CJ Shearn Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 He also contributed excellent playing on some of Stanley Clarke's more recent albums. RIP. Quote
