robertoart Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 I just want my copy of Low Life back. Bought at time of release and lent to a grubby Baritone player the next week, who proceeded to decamp to Amsterdam. Never got to hear the Lp. Was that a good record Quote
mjazzg Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 This is now on Spotify in UK for any interested parties Quote

David Ayers Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 Thought I might purchase the download via Spotify - but they have stopped selling downloads! There has been no announcement from them so far as I know. Quote

There has been no announcement from them so far as I know. I hadn't noticed any announcement but then I've never purchased downloads through them. I'm still in the dark ages either using Spotify as a taster before purchasing physical product or as a "radio" of music I don't want to shell the readies on. The Brotz box is very good (or at least the parts I've got through so far) so I hope you can find a download somewhere Quote

That said, like you I tend to either stream or buy CD. That said, the download + burn option is fine for me on stuff I know I'll have exhausted after a few listens... Would have probably worked well for this set... Quote
David Ayers Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 The poor man's alternative might be the double Walk Love Sleep, the 2011 tentet only - going cheaply on amazon.co.uk http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sleep-Peter-Brotzmann-Chicago-Tentet/dp/B00A0HRQ6Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1362662915&sr=8-2 Quote

Steve Reynolds Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 I posted elsewhere but it needs to be said that the 51 piece with Drake, Laswell etc. is pretty damn great. hit or miss for the rest of the set to these ears so far Quote
king ubu Posted May 16, 2013 Author Report Posted May 16, 2013 Then go clean your ears! It's almost entirely hit for me! Quote
