Ed S
Pretty sure this is a new addition to the Last Chance List:   Louis Armstrong & The All Stars Newport 1956 &1958 (4 LPs) They also have a few Resonance LP sets listed on their site. The Larry Young in Paris seemed like a good price Roland Kirk LP set is $75, on sale from $100  I grabbed the Armstrong set and from Resonance (via True Blue) - Larry Young in Paris
mikeweil
It looks like the Lunceford box is sold out ...

mikeweil
Yes, it's not yet listed among the sets sold out, but the link on the homepage leads to an error notification. No matter which way I go - I can't find it anymore on Mosaic's website. I'm really glad I got me a copy earlier this year.
sidewinder
Yep, picked a copy up in my last batch too.
mjzee
It looks like the Lunceford is still available; probably was just a bad link.
mikeweil
Good for those who still want a copy! http://www.mosaicrecords.com/prodinfo.asp?number=250-MD-CD But it was moved to "Last Chance"!

Heh, now it's not showing up again.  It is such a terrible website.
mjzee
It's no longer listed under "Last Chance" or in the boxed set listing. Â So I guess now it's gone. Â (Unless they find some more copies.)

What we need is a "mass" (in relative terms) rally in Central London/NYC with banners made up, petitions to Trump/Parliament and chanting this slogan. Edited April 5, 2017 by sidewinder

To be honest, I pick up stuff now knowing full well that I don't have time to listen to it all. But I am a few years out from retirement - at which point I likely won't be able to afford the luxury of a Mosaic or any other set. So I buy them now, knowing I'll listen to them later.
