skeith Posted December 24, 2012 Report Posted December 24, 2012 All the best to you and your family! Quote
papsrus Posted December 25, 2012 Report Posted December 25, 2012 Congratulates. And I'm guessing you'll love being a grandpa, when the time comes. Quote
JSngry Posted December 25, 2012 Author Report Posted December 25, 2012 Thanks again, everybody. I would not want to be a young couple now, not in this world. There are more paths to failure than ever before, and fewer ways off them should you so venture. They're good people, both of them, but still... Or maybe it's always been that way and I'm just more aware now of how lucky I was to have never really guessed really wrong then. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted December 25, 2012 Report Posted December 25, 2012 Congratulations. I would have posted sooner, but from that first post, I wasn't sure how you felt about it! Quote
RDK Posted December 26, 2012 Report Posted December 26, 2012 Congrats Jim! Still a ways away for me and my gals (lord, at least I hope!), but that's one of those bridges we all have to cross someday. Best of luck to the happy couple! Quote
JSngry Posted December 26, 2012 Author Report Posted December 26, 2012 Yeah, my daughter's 22 and still very much in that "head in the clouds" phase. However much i worry about my son...it's that much more for her. She's crazy-mad sparkle, this one is. When she finally lands on earth, it's gonna be awesome. I just hope I live long enough to see it! But unless and until then...I don't see dropping off the blood pressure medicine anytime soon, I'll put it that way! Quote
Big Al Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 Congratulations, Jim, Looks like we were both celebrating marriages of our children this weekend. Quote
