Having trouble getting into the forums

My office switched to Internet Explorer 8 today and since then I am having problems getting into the forums. Interesting I can get into "Forum Discussion" but the music section I can not.

I get this message "Internet Explorere cannot open the Internet Site http://www.organissimo.org/forum/.

operation aborted.

any idea what may be going on?

I find that recently, when I go to the forums in Chrome, the display is all wrong: the text shows up as text on a white background, large font, scrolling far down, no images or frames and stuff. In Internet Explorer it shows up fine.

No big issues in Opera ... but the hyper hyper text field is a bit annoying, I'd prefer an old-school one with code visible instead of images and fancy stuff being right there as soon as you add a link.

But I was just told "You are not allowed to do that" a few minutes back, whatever "that" was - even though I think I should've been logged in still, I had to login (or so it said) to post, but the result was that funny page telling me just that that was not allowed

You know inside the forum there's a forum with a forum in it etc. etc. .... the question is: which level are you on and do you still have control?
