We need a visual Shazam app. If I break a vintage lamp, for example, I want to instantly know who made it so I can replace it!

BTW, are incandescent light bulbs still available in the US? They have been ruled out here, except for some very specific exceptions where LED lights would melt or otherwise be destroyed (ovens etc).

However, before they disappeared, I built up a stock of hundreds of light bulbs in various shapes, sizes and wattages, so that I can always play back vinyl through my tube amp and read the liner notes in 100 percent incandescent light.

You can still get them, but they are harder and harder to find.  In some situations, I like the weird alien landscape glow of LED lights, but they completely lack the warmth of old-school bulbs.

Ok, I found the song, it's called "Vanessa". I have a Chet Atkins version, but there's definitely some Happy Housewife version of it that was omnipresent at the dawn of the Space Age.

Here's the Atkins version:

Forgot about that waltz part (it's been several decades since last heard)...but Happy Housewifes dreamed of waltzing too, I'm sure.

That link no longer works.  Is it this tune?
