I love the quartet for what it is. Avant-garde pop kinda. “Cute” to some extent. Very engaging and fun live. Love Tomeka’s melodies. Best live when they do cool improvised segues between songs. I like the albums and get what Steve says about avant-garde pop. . I've only listened to it once so need to revisit but I'll go with good cute (not what took to be meant originally).
