alocispepraluger102 Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 Saw this headline on AZ Central today: "Police: Man shoots at car with 1-year-old son" Quote
slide_advantage_redoux Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 The grammar of that headline is so unclear. What does it mean? Did he fire his one year old son through a cannon at the other car? Did he share the experience of road rage with his child? Does he have a youth gun? Or did the other car have a one year old seated inside? Quote
rostasi Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 Maybe his son was armed too - it is Maricopa after-all. Quote
alocispepraluger102 Posted October 17, 2012 Author Report Posted October 17, 2012 (edited) fine fine journalism---this will make it clear??? LINK "A 27-year-old Maricopa man was arrested Monday on suspicion of aggravated assault with a weapon, disorderly conduct with a weapon and endangerment after he apparently fired a gun at a car that had his 1-year-old son, Maricopa police say. Police reported the victims were in their car outside the Arby's at West John Wayne Parkway and Smith Enke Road when Eric Thomas Wright "became disorderly" and was asked to leave the vehicle." Jazzmoose Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 Well, that clears it up, except I'm wondering why the car had his son. Quote
rostasi Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 ...and most of all how it had his son! Quote
king ubu Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 well, it had it because the man shot him at it - simple! Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 Much like some recent Chicago Tribune headlines: "Motorcyclist killed after being struck by semi on I-290" "Man killed after being struck by Metra train on South Side" These post-mishap killings must stop! Quote
paul secor Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 It seems that since there's no money in the newspaper business these days, only illiterates and/or idiots want to work for newspapers. Quote

Well, it was probably easier than patching them up... Quote
