I would have thought that the most recorded jazz standard of all time was "I Got Rhythm."

As for great recordings of "Body and Soul," aside from Hawkins', two that come to mind are the Chu Berry-Roy Eldridge version and Serge Chaloff's.

That's bizarre-- I was just listening to an episode of On Point on the Savory Collection and this fact was just mentioned.

A great modern-day version is Jason Moran's gorgeous solo piano rendition.
