Still need the trio from Fledg'ling, too - have never so far heard McGregor in a setting smaller than the Blue Notes ... somehow I'd never think of him as a trio or solo pianist, but I'll eventually find out :)

My copy arrived this morning so I've only managed to play it once so far, but first impressions are very favourable.

Like the earlier release "In His Good Time" on Ogun this is another 'live' recording but to my ears his playing sounds a bit more 'muscular' on this one. Since I only have these two albums of him playing solo piano I don't know whether his playing changed much over the ten years between the two concerts but it's obvious that the audience loved it. Whatever the provenance of the recording, the sound itself is excellent. Highly recommended.

One minor quibble; the artwork consists of red lettering against a red background, which means the notes are very difficult to read.
