Was at my local used cd store a couple of weekends ago, they were playing this album:

Never heard this before -- had to buy it, and it has not left my player. One of the most beautiful and complete albums I have heard in a long time.

That's one of his albums from his London period, 1972. I love most of his stuff, but my favorite album of his might be Bicho, from '77 which has a number of songs that have stayed in his repertoire ever since: Odara, Two Nara Fifty Kobo, O Leaozinho, and Tigressa.
