Tony Williams - Mosaic Select

See the Mosaic site (scroll down) - the mastering of the set was done by Kurt Lundvall.

That doesn't prove anything. Who mastered the original discs?

Why don't you do the research and come up with the answers instead of almost always criticizing others? That (criticizing others) is all you seem to do here.

Don't read my posts, then.

There are many here who are more critical than me, btw. I was just pointing out that you gave a very one-sided answer. It's not rocket science, you know. As far as doing the research, the original question was not mine. I don't have the original cd's, and was just happy to have the opportunity to get them through Mosaic. Who masters what is of little interest to me.

Thanks everyone.

So, it does seem that the Mosaic Select has been remastered.

The reason I ask is that I have all the original CDs and I wondered whether the Mosaic set sounds better or not. Perhaps that's the question I should have asked. Anyone have any views?

My advice would be to keep the original CDs.
