Quincy Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 I loved Animal House so much I moved to where it was shot. Okay, it just worked out that way. Team America has 2 of my favorite movie songs ever, America Fuck Yeah! and Montage, not to mention the best puppet sex ever. And the way Matt Damon (puppet form of course) says his name nearly killed me from laughing so hard. Severely underrated movie. Quote
Scott Dolan Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 What About Bob? is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss at their very best. Quote
robertoart Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 Cook and Moore - Hounds Of The Baskervilles Not their best film, but a funny scene nonetheless. Quote
Pete C Posted July 2, 2012 Author Report Posted July 2, 2012 Cook and Moore Bedazzled is uneven, but has some great moments. I don't know why, but for years I labored under the misconception that it was a Richard Lester film. Quote

I don't know why, but for years I labored under the misconception that it was a Richard Lester film. I love Bedazzled as well. There is some funny stuff in that. The pop star wish is hilarious. I've read people write that the 'pop star' Peter Cook plays in this scene is strangely pre-empting David Bowie's stage persona of a few years later http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQ-1uO5H0Vk Quote
Big Wheel Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 Can't stand Napoleon Dynamite. A painful watch. I get that the inversion of the Loser-turns-cool movie is part of the joke but...just not funny enough. Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels might be one of the funniest crime films ever made. Quote
Noj Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 For me Napoleon Dynamite got funnier with successive views. The true-to-life nerdiness of the characters struck a chord. Quote
Ted O'Reilly Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 My favorite all-time laughs... (Just click on Watch on YouTube): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cekr16B4Gno This is the first thing that came to my mind, as well. Play that anywhere in the world to any audience and you'll have them laughing. Most of the bits came from Stan Laurel's fecund mind. Brilliant! Quote

Neal Pomea Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 I liked both Jerry Lewis and Eddie Murphy in The Nutty Professor. Trading Places was another good Murphy movie. Quote
Pete C Posted July 2, 2012 Author Report Posted July 2, 2012 I think a lot of people don't like Murphy's Nutty Professor, but I thought it was hilarious. Quote
