Pete C Posted July 1, 2012 Report Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) If there's already a thread I couldn't find it. I'll start with a few that I only caught up with in the last few years: The In-Laws My Cousin Vinny Johnny Stecchino I also think all the Austin Powers films are a hoot. Larry Kart Posted July 1, 2012 Report Posted July 1, 2012 The best scenes in "The Return of the Pink Panther" never fail to make me laugh: E.g. and the following scene where Sellers questions a group of suspects. Quote

thedwork Posted July 1, 2012 Report Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) "Funniest Films" If there's already a thread I couldn't find it. great idea for a thread! 1st film that came to mind for me was Bullets Over Broadway. for me, easily Woody's funniest film. but it also deals w/ some interesting ideas as well and ends up being rather deep while never being less than absolutely hilarious! and even w/ his roles in Hurlyburly and Bronx Tale, for me this is still the best Chazz Palmitteri performance. the role of a lifetime... the setup: the beginning of how it plays out: too many great things in this movie to even try to start naming them. watch it! cih Posted July 1, 2012 Report Posted July 1, 2012 Buster Keaton I find more beautiful to watch than actually funny I think, similarly the Marx Bros kind of beautiful to listen to (aside from Harpo who is beautiful to watch..), and Laurel and Hardy I find beautiful to watch and actually funny too. And Police Academy 5 obviously. Quote

Tim McG Posted July 1, 2012 Report Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) [do animations count?] Agreed on Young Frankenstein. Puttin' on the Ritz is priceless. I laugh out loud every time I watch that scene. I also like the bit with Gene Hackman as the blind guy; especially when the monster rolls his eyes. As long as we're in Mel Brooks mode: High Anxiety. Great Hitchcock spoof.
