Corbett vs Dempsey have just reissued two early Joe McPhee Hat Huts

1. Glasses - live solo (plus one duo percussion) Switzerland, 1977

2. Variations On A Blue Line/'Round Midnight - live solo France, 1977

They come as foldout digipaks with nicely done repros of the original LP covers

I mentioned these in the Hat Hut thread. They are also planning more McPhees and Philip Wilson's Esoteric. Here's hoping for even more ... Baikida Carroll's The Spoken Word would be awesome.

Tried searching for Hat Art & Hat Hut but nothing came up - Am I doing something wrong? Generally I don't have much luck finding previous threads by searching within organissimo - have had better luck by searching via google to find the old thread

These seem to be from vinyl (I could be wrong though...), that's surprising. But it's great to see a music supporter such as Corbett still devoted to McPhee's early works.

Esoteric is a fine album, hope it does get reissued soon.

I hope. It's nice they're putting out "Lonely Woman" (which was lopped off Oleo for the CD editions) but there are plenty of full albums worthy of release.
