DrJ Posted July 4, 2012 Report Posted July 4, 2012 (edited) Good timing to stoke the sales of the remaining copies of the Mosaic, perhaps: I see in this month's Downbeat that Mr. Stitt has finally made it to their Hall of Fame, voted in by the Veteran's Committee. ABOUT damn time! Edited July 4, 2012 by DrJ Quote
wesbed Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 (edited) Ordered. My first Mosaic in about eight years. Yes, I do remember the excitement. Oh! And, Malcolm Addey too. Edited August 29, 2012 by wesbed Quote

The Magnificent Goldberg Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 How's the session with Don Patterson? That's the one I'm the most curious about. Bad thing is, I simply do not have the funds right now ... It's nice. That's the one I bought the box to get. From my point of view, most of this set is the sort of Stitt that made Jim Sangrey once exclaim 'Sonny, why do you keep making the same fucking album!?' (The Latin album is nice, too, and on the same disc as the Patterson, I think.) MG Quote
bogdan101 Posted March 16, 2013 Report Posted March 16, 2013 Still on the last chance list, so I pressed the button on this one. I've seen posts about this set from 2003, so last chance might mean the licence is running out. Quote
