Captain Hate Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 Seven years ago at the Vision Festival I saw Sorey, as part of their "new talent" or something like that (it was on a Saturday afternoon and not very well attended), play the most stunning solo piano concert I've seen in a long time. To call it percussive would be an extreme understatement, and his musical ideas realized inside the piano were just stunning. I've been disappointed that this aspect of his body of work has been relatively neglected compared to his drumming. Quote
