AfricaBrass
This is a crazy story! There was one person I'd held a grudge against in my life. It was a friend from junior high who turned against me and brought me a lot of misery. I ran into him on Facebook a couple years ago and we ended up talking on the phone for an hour. It was so cathartic to forgive him let go of my anger. My grudge towards him was like a cancer that only hurt me. He didn't even remember all the stuff that went down between us. lol
Tom Storer
There are two or three people I hold a grudge against. Usually I am the most forgiving of men, but sometimes something happens that just isn't trivial. But I didn't shoot them to death, nor will I. I just stopped frequenting them. Chuck Nessa
I have held a couple of grudges for a long time. They could be the reason I am still alive. The key is where you hold 'em.
ejp626
Probably a lot closer to Chuck on this. I hold grudges for a long, long time, and I do use them to spur me on to prove those others wrong. Of course, most of my grudges are strictly work-related. Mike Schwartz
Holding a grudge is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. This one and "... holding a grudge is like letting someone live rent free in your head" have served me well and keep me away from those killer resentments!
