Dave James Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 (edited) Wow, that's a loss. This guy has to be one of the more underrated musicians ever. Some of the stuff he did with Fleetwood Mac while they were transitioning to the unlistenable pop group they became is as solid as anything you'll ever hear. "Church", "Bermuda Triangle", "Hypnotized", "Hot Love, Cold World", "Sentimental Lady"...these are great songs. A wonderful and talented guitar player as well. Here's an example. RIP, man. You had it all. Edited June 8, 2012 by Dave James Quote
chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 i am in complete shock. my favorite member of the mac. RIP Bob, and thanks for all your wonderful music Quote
Quincy Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 I'm supposed like the Peter Green era best but I never have, preferring Welch & Kirwan. For a time in my childhood it seemed like Bob Welch was everywhere, or at the least The Midnight Special a few times. R.I.P., and special thanks for Bare Trees. Quote
