kh1958 Posted June 5, 2012 Report Share Posted June 5, 2012 I saw them a couple of years ago at the Blue Note, on a double bill with Jason Moran. I enjoyed them moderately; they were fine, but not anything great; some songs were more to my liking than others. I would see them again in the right circumstances. Head Man Posted June 5, 2012 Report Share Posted June 5, 2012 I've seen them on three or four occasions spread over a number of years during various UK tours and they have always put on a good show. One thing I have noticed about them though, is that live they play and sound very much like they do on their recordings and the fourth show was very much like the first...apart from the tune selection, obviously.
