JSngry Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Actually, quite a few pieces of poop that said "Blue Note" on the side were sold in the 1970s... Quote
Morganized Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Hey, if they bought it once....... There are people who'd buy a piece of poop if it said "Blue Note" on the side. Well it depends on who remastered it! I know there is significant audible differences on some of the discs, but many times they are selling the disc to people who already own a copy of the session. Acknowledged in my original post. I am as guilty as anyone here, but it does not change the facts........!!! Quote

Philly Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 I know "one night with Blue Note" 4 CDs were released long time ago. Will they be issued later on? Or I just buy used ones on eBay or Amazon makret place? Thanks! Quote
.:.impossible Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 All I can say is thank god for re-issues because the new releases ought to include an apology program. Buy four or more new releases from Blue Note and redeem your proof of purchase for an official and personalized apology for completely missing the mark, losing sight of both pop culture and the progress of jazz. Kind of like that Conn watch deal back in the 90s. Quote
JSngry Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 From the Conn Watch to the Con Watch in about a decade. Who says jazz is dead? Quote
montg Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Philly, Here's a thread discussing the One Night with Blue Note release: one night with blue note Quote
