Stefan Wood
Picked this set up today. Looks like a sampler from an early summer 1971 concert, With: Dave Pike, Jean Luc Ponty, John Surman, Stu Martin, Barre Phillips, Tangerine Dream, and Weather Report playing Wayne Shorter's composition "Eurydice." No idea this existed. Was this ever put on disc?
rostasi
Yes! - back in the 90's, tho I'm not sure that it was a "legit" release. Have had the LPs for about 40 years. Nice set! ®ø∂ --- Now playing: Luc Ferrari - Archives Génétiquement Modifiées
sambrasa
If you mean if it was ever released on CD format, then yes. Twice, actually. First there was an Italian bootleg which was a needle drop. And couple of years ago it was released as a nice and clean digipack by some label called Take 5. They also released the MPS New Violin Summit 1971. Very shabby distribution, though. Which means probably not legit.
clifford_thornton
Some cool stuff on that LP set. Not too common, I'd say probably a "great find."
