GA Russell Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 This is from mobileread.com: Open any Amazon MP3 page Click the link under the buy button that says "Redeem a gift card or promotion code & view balance" Enter Code: MOMROCKS Click Apply Expires at 11:59 p.m PST on April 22, 2012. I'm going to get that Mal Waldron that somebody (Shawn?) got last time. Good luck! Quote
Pete C Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Thanks. With that plus the $1 credit I recently got I can buy a 3-track Black Saint album. Was the Waldron one of the Black Saint long tracks? Crowd Scene, with Ricky Ford and Sonny Fortune is fabulous, and the whole album is 2 tracks, for a total of $1.78. Quote
GA Russell Posted April 20, 2012 Author Report Posted April 20, 2012 Pete, that's what it was, Crowd Scene. I've already downloaded it without shopping around! Quote
AfricaBrass Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Thank you so much!!! I purchased the Mal Waldron with the last credit. I love his Soul Note albums. With this new coupon, I purchased: Cecil Taylor - Olu Iwa Thanks again!!! Quote

Dan Gould Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Thanks, I am leaning toward using this for the DEEP "The Outlaws" release that was mentioned a few weeks back in the context of Horace Silver tunes. Quote

Pete C Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 (edited) Are there any other jazz labels besides Black Saint/Soul Note that are priced a flat per-track charge regardless of length? Edit: Well, I do see that John Handy's The New View (3 tracks) is $2.99, plus at the link you can see other deals other customers found: http://www.amazon.com/New-View/dp/B001HE2KFG/ref=sr_shvl_album_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334955533&sr=301-1 The odd thing is, Handy at Monterey (2 tracks) is priced at $9.99 for the album, but only 99 cents for each track, so it's $1.98 if you buy it that way. GA Russell Posted April 20, 2012 Author Report Posted April 20, 2012 That's great, Pete. I'll remember that Handy for the next time. Quote
