mjzee Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 I bought that single, and wore it out. I also bought the album, with the textured silver cover, but it was in bad stereo that totally denuded the band's power. Earlier this year, I found that Sundazed released the album on CD in mono and bought it...but you can't go home again, y'know? Quote
JSngry Posted April 10, 2013 Report Posted April 10, 2013 Well, you can, but the furniture's always been moved and there's new curtains up and trees down, so why bother? I say that having driven past my folks' old house this past Sunday. The trees my kids used to climb are all gone, the yard was nasty, the front door had been painted over very poorly, and there was a car parked in the grass of the front yard. So yeah, you can, but...don't. Quote
paul secor Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 (edited) I'd completely forgotten about that song and singer. Thanks for bringing back a memory. The Blossoms doing the great vocal backup? Edited December 3, 2016 by paul secor Quote
GA Russell Posted December 3, 2016 Report Posted December 3, 2016 Sounds to me like Blues in the Closet. Quote
JSngry Posted December 4, 2016 Report Posted December 4, 2016 Sounds to me like the man spent all his money as quick as Dick Clark paid him whatever little bit he was giving him. Quote
