felser Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Got stacks of them. Should be able to get a few dollars for them at used stores or here or dustygroove buys used CD's via mail. I might even have some interest in a few of them if you want to IM me. Quote
crispi Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 There's a guy over at the Hoffman forums looking for them. Maybe you two should work something out. http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=282479 Quote
jazzbo Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 I was going to say they're sought after on the Hoffman board, though they don't want to pay too much for them. Quote
J.A.W. Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Selling them on the Hoffman board could be a problem, because you can't access their "Marketplace" unless you've been a member there for 30 days and have posted at least 50 times; selling stuff on their regular fora is not allowed. Quote
colinmce Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Do you have a list? I like them and have big holes in my Shorter, Blakey, and Silver collections, not to mention odds & ends. Quote
CJ Shearn Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 I just replaced my RVG "Out to Lunch" with the McMaster. One of the few I'm glad I did! Quote
David Ayers Posted April 10, 2012 Author Report Posted April 10, 2012 Thanks guys. I am undecided but I might post a list here, if not at Hoffmann. Quote
Pete B Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Please post it here. I'm sure many of us would be interested. Pete Quote
Pete C Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 (edited) Should be able to get a few dollars for them at used stores I can't imagine there'd be that many left. If Dusty Groove buys I'd say just go for credit with them, since it's a great business, or list them here. Now it's time for Pete D to check in... Edited April 10, 2012 by Pete C Quote

David is in the U.K., so selling the discs to Dusty Groove in Chicago would not be very profitable (and that's an understatement ) Quote
David Ayers Posted April 10, 2012 Author Report Posted April 10, 2012 Does Ray's trade used CDs? They certainly do and that might be a way to go. Quote
AmirBagachelles Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 Go get a fat CD wallet and fill it up, including the fine old booklets. I use these for weekends away, esp. in the car. You can also donate to libraries and get a small tax deduction, yes? Quote
