btw, of three discs in my order with these silly magnetic digipacks, only one really works, the other two just will remain open... I've often wondered about this packaging when looking at Clean Feed disc in stores, but now I'm finally convinced it's really moronic.

With all the wonderful music you just purchased, is that really all that you have to say?

same second notification from paypal, nothing else... ordered on March 31 (afternoon yurpeen time, morning us time):

Rob Brown Trio - Sounds

Charles Rumback Quartet - Two Kinds of Art Thieves

Roswell Rudd/Mark Dresser - Airwalkers

Whit Dickey - Sacred Ground

Michael Blake Trio - Right before your very ears

Gerry Hemingway - The Whimbler

Whit Dickey - In a Heartbeat

I listened to most of 'The Whimbler' yesterday and enjoyed it, good group interplay.

It was back then since I'd not played anything by then... but still the packaging is silly.

But I've played the Rumback and Blake discs by now, and both are very good!

My discs were wrapped in some flyers... got my order in two packages also, but they got here the same day.

Very happy with the music, I must say! The Hemingway ("The Whimbler") and Rob Brown ("Sounds") are mighty good, the two Whit Dickeys are fine, too (though I do need more time there, but with Campbell and Brown... they ought to be good!), the Rumback is quite what I expected of it (got it for Ward/Ajemian, never heard of Rumback or the tenor player), and because the line-up (as/ts/b/d) looks very appealing to me... that leaves the Rudd/Dresser, which is good as well (but hasn't yet been listened to attentively, will d so today, I think).

Those Dennis González discs surely are wonderful! Into the one with Lake now, and I love it! (A bit more so than the other one, which was the very first time I heard Charlie Kohlhaase.)

Definitely a label I should check out more often - glad I put in a second order in time!

Hm, why has my CD by Charles Gayle "Consider the Lillies..." just four tracks, when the cover lists eight?

Did I get a faulty disc, or was there some mistake when the covers were printed?

No newsletter announcing this? I just wanted to sign up (again) but was told I'm still signed up, so ... any idea how long the sale will go on? I'd love to order a bunch of things (including that Tamarindo trio disc!), but my end of Feb. budget will mostly go to Mosaic ...
