colinmce Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 Looking for a copy of this stubbornly hard to find hatOLOGY disc. If anyone has a copy they'd like to part with I'd pay up to $25 Quote
J.A.W. Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 (edited) I've searched a zillion European and North American stores, but couldn't find it. As you probably know it's sold out according to the HatHut site. Edited March 26, 2012 by J.A.W. Quote
colinmce Posted March 26, 2012 Author Report Posted March 26, 2012 Yes. It was also printed in an edition of 1500 rather than the usual 3000. The search continues ... Quote
David Ayers Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 Thought I had this but no - went to check on account of this thread. Damn - I was so sure I had it. Found Tenor and Fallen Angels which I am having with my breakfast. Quote
king ubu Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 same here... if anyone happens to stumble over a truckload, put one in the mail for me, please! Quote
J.A.W. Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 I'm sure Mr Uehlinger will reissue it sooner or later, like he always does with many hatwhatever discs. Quote
AmirBagachelles Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 There is a copy on Amazon.de. Cheers Quote
J.A.W. Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 There is a copy on Amazon.de. Cheers Yep, for €50.55 or about $67.50 plus shipping. There's also one on Amazon France for €40 or about $53.50 plus shipping. It's a bit more than the original poster has in mind Quote
AmirBagachelles Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 For something I search for over a period of years, I am comfortable paying up. It usually just means I will be selling some stuff ahead, and be out of the purchasing market for a few weeks or months. Waiting for something to be reissued is a low probability bet at this point. How many shitty CDs did you buy over the past ten years? Plenty. So when a great one comes along, it's worth 2-3x a single shitty or average disc, at least. If not, then I think you may be misjudging an opportunity. Just get your long sought disc, and then lay out and spend some time with it, and you'll come to a conclusion one way or another pretty quickly I think. Quote
colinmce Posted February 1, 2013 Author Report Posted February 1, 2013 There is a copy at Reckless for $9.99 or $15.99 shipped. This one is still very difficult to nab; I'm glad this thread came though for me as the album is truly exquisite.http://www.reckless.com Quote
