i just got the best sun ra album- no seriously- its so different than what i thought it was gonna be- it swings like his stuff from the 50s but its probably from the early 70s-- its called NIGHT OF THE PURPLE MOON

I just got it too! It became immediately one of my favourite Sun Ra albums. Produced by T.S.Mims, like the also brilliant "My Brother the Wind, Vol.1" from the same period, 1970.
